Download Cubevue

CubeVue is not a universal DICOM viewer and displays CurveBeam AI datasets only.

A license is required to activate the 3D rendering window. Please call 267-483-8081 or email info@curvebeamai.com to purchase a license.

This version of CubeVue is only intended for use with CurveBeam AI’s InReach and pedCAT systems. If you wish to obtain a copy of CubeVue that is compatible with the LineUP or HiRise please reach out to technical support at techsupport@curvebeamai.com .

CubeVue System Requirements

64 bit Windows 10 or higher operating system with a minimum of 16GB RAM, SSD drive, and screen resolution of at least 1024 x 768. Any CPU that supports the Intel x64 instruction sets with SSE3 extensions, including AMD-based systems. CubeVue can run on a Parallels-enabled Apple system that meets these requirements Administrative rights on the computer is required for software installation.

To install the application:

  • If an existing version of CubeVue is already installed on the PC browse to C:\Program Files\CurveBeam LLC\CubeVue\client64. Rename the folder InstaXScripts to InstaXScripts.old.
  • Ensure that the user installing the application has Administrator access to the PC.
  • Click here to download the latest version of CubeVue (CVxxxx_64bitRT.zip) from the link to your desktop
  • Browse to the location where the file is downloaded, this is commonly located inside of the Downloads folder. Right click on the CVXXX_64BitRT.zip file and select “Extract All”. Make sure the checkbox for “Show Extracted Files When Completed” is selected.
  • Click Extract. Once completed a new window will appear with the extracted files.
  • Inside of that new window right click on CVIM.exe and select “Run as Administrator”. If this is not selected the install will not continue.
  • Click Install CubeVue to begin installation. Please wait until the install window states that the installation is completed before opening CubeVue.

Note: the CubeVue installer may prompt to reboot the PC after an update to Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Update Redistributable Package (x64); after reboot, there may be an error message on the screen indicating “Windows can’t open this file: Setup.bin”. Click “Cancel” and proceed to steps 6 thru 7 above: “Locate the file CVIM.exe in the directory”; “right-click and “Run as Administrator”; “follow on screen instructions to complete installation.”

To install a new license:

  • Download the exe file ‘NICReader’ from the link below to your desktop:
  • Double click and launch NICReader from your desktop
  • Fill in your name or the user name of the PC in the space provided
  • Select your desktop as the location to save the file ‘cbinf.dat’.
  • Email the cbinf.dat to techsupport@curvebeamai.com and we will return a license file to you named ‘cblic.dat’
  • Move the cblic.dat file sent you to the following folder: C:\Program Files\CurveBeamLLC\CubeVue
  • Launch CubeVue and open a study.
  • Ensure you have the 3D rendering in the top left hand pane when you open a volume.

To install TALAS Pathologies:

  • Download the TALASMasterPathologiesList_V2.csv from the link below to your desktop:
  • Launch CubeVue and open a study; once the scan is open on the “Review” tab, click on the “TALAS” tool button on the top right of the ribbon controls.
  • When the TALAS window opens, click on “Import Pathologies” button and navigate to the desktop and select the TALASMasterPathologiesList_V2.csv file and click “OK”; close TALAS window.
